Membership
Our membership is open to those who accept the aforesaid objectives and at present number 400. The SLCB is administered under a Constitution approved by the membership, and by office-bearers appointed by the Members at an Annual General Meeting.
There are four categories of Members:
- Honorary Membership
- Lifetime Membership
- Ordinary Membership
- Representative Membership
Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership is offered to those who have served and serving at present the objectives of the SLCB, and upon the approval by the Board.
Life Membership
Lifetime Membership is given to those who are not blacklisted by any other organization or institution or by a Court of Law, and upon payment of Rs. 5,000.
Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is given to a person with General Body approval, upon paying Rs. 500 based on annual renewal.
Non-voting Representative Membership
Non-voting Representative Membership is given to selected Organizations and Institutions who operate closely with the SLCB, upon nomination by the Heads of such Organizations and Institutions.
